Every year, the Friends of Vivian Robinson acknowledge the pioneers of black theatre in a ceremony and celebration where nominated theatre artists committed to our community receive a symbolic torch from these mentors to carry on our traditions and light the way with our art. It was a privilege to receive this honor along side my inspiring peers, Deborah McGee, Patrice Andrew Davidson, Nambi E. Kelley and Chisa Hutchinson. Thank you and Congrats.
